Most conventional gums list "Gum Base" as an ingredient. That means it can contain artificial substances like synthetic plastic. We use chicle instead, a sustainable tree sap that we source from Central America.

Our founder, Caron, started Simply gum in 2014 after she discovered that regular chewing gum is filled with artificial ingredients. She started making batches of gum in her NYC apartment & sold the first Simply Gum products in stores throughout Manhattan.

GOOD INGREDIENTS ONLY

Here is some of the synthetic stuff that may be in conventional gum: polyisobutylene, polyvinyl acetate, and butylated hydroxytoluene. You won't find these substances - or anything else like them - in our gum.

Simply Gum Gum products

I have found it very hard to locate a store that still sells simply gum. It seems like every store stopped carrying the product. Vitamins store - no more; Whole Foods - no more. I do not like artificial sweetener nor sugar coated gum. I appreciate that I can buy on line but I hope you can get it into more stores

Good ingredients, poor execution

Flavors dissipate very quickly (within minutes) and if you check it too long, it becomes stringy. I like the minimal and natural ingredients but the execution is lacking to be an actual chewing gum.

Love this gum!

Best all natural gum I’ve found! Love that it’s sweetened with regular old cane sugar. I’ve tried other natural gums on the market and one of them practically destroyed me because of the Erythitol.
